Upcoming Fall 2015 Trade Shows

At San Diego Sign Company, we’re all about providing top quality, stunning trade show display products. Today, let’s take a look at some of the cool and interesting trade shows going on over the next few months. Some of these you may be very familiar with, and some of them, you may have not known even exist!

Orlando, Florida is the perfect place for us to start with the Surf Expo Tradeshow being held there next weekend, September 10-12 at the Orange County Convention Center. The show is expecting 26,000+ to be in attendance, with over 2,600 booths and 7,500 storefronts. Surf Expo is the largest and longest running boardsports and resort/beach lifestyle trade show in the world, and exhibitors feature everything from high end sporting brands to affordable coastal souvenirs. Board Demo Day is an outdoor event that attracts hundreds of retailers to test the latest boards and equipment, and will take place during the Surf Expo as well.

Coming up at the end of this month is the Global Gaming Expo being held September 29 – October 1 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada, where leading exhibitors will be showcasing slots, security, table games, casino design and marketing solutions. This trade show also boasts world class seminar sessions from experts in the industry on all the latest gaming topics.

Also being held in Las Vegas is the 13th annual ABC Kids Expo scheduled for October 18-25, 2015 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The trade show expects to draw upwards of 12,000 attendees from all over the world. Major manufacturers and distributors in the industry will be attending to present their newest and most innovative products for infants and children. The venue features over 1 million square feet of floor space, leaving plenty of room for new product showcases (one showcase features products made and manufactured in the USA) and live runway events.

Lastly, just in time to start getting geared up for the holiday season is the Southern Christmas Show held November 10 – 22 at the Park Expo and Conference Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Southern Christmas Show is the largest and most popular holiday show in the United States. This show has a ton of events and features lined up, including The Enchanted Village – a collection of miniature houses and scenes all created by the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts, a Holiday Entertainment Stage featuring fun for the whole family, and Christmas Tree Lane which presents award winning trees which promises to get your creativity flowing for your own holiday decorating.

New Popular Big Displays. Filling the 30 Foot Gap.

Sometimes you need a large display, but perhaps it’s not large enough to keep its portability, its easy setup and its light weight. You have to go custom. You don’t wanna go custom.

But what if I told you we have a super easy fabric pop up display that is 30 feet wide?

And it fits into one, I repeat, 1 travel bag! It’s only 65 lbs. Geometric accordion-like frame has plastic hooks attached that clip together to secure. Fabric comes attached, (though we recommend you remove graphic for long-term storage), and stays put with Velcro. Convenient in travel mode, in setup mode, and in takedown-storage mode—fits into a small space!

Introducing the 30 ft RPL Stretch Fabric Pop Up Display!
Let’s take a closer look at some pictures and setup video below!

Here is the frame expanded completely. Very simple.

The Dish on Pizza

I love pizza. I love how each pizza shop has their own flavor. It’s like you have to go to that pizza shop because you’re craving that taste. Most of all, I love tossing pizza dough. I learned on the job. My late teens to early twenties were spent making and delivering pizza. I was first hired as a driver, and the first time I ever knocked on a stranger’s door was, well, strange, but I got used to it real quick after I got my first tip. At 18 years old, making tips was freakin’ awesome.
Work was the best: I’d take phone orders, “decorate” and cut pizzas, and plan out my driving route, ready to make that pocket skrill. Most pizza driver’s get into the business for tips, but also for the music. You can’t go a full eight-hour shift without personally-selected music ready to play in your car. Plus, there’s free pizza to eat; mostly it’s hours-old-mistake pizza, but sometimes it’s fresh-of-your-choosing pizza. Where we lose it and quit? It’s when we grow tired of hearing the cacophony of p…
